Full main floor renovation including a complete rebuild of the main staircase and removing a loadbearing wall and installing a beam to open up the kitchen to the dining and living rooms. Contemporary style, large island, two-tone custom cabinetry, sleek lighting.

We refinished the existing hardwood flooring and installed new tile flooring in the kitchen.

Problems and Solutions

Dysfunctional and unsafe main staircase. Closed off and dark kitchen that did not utilize all the square footage to their advantage. Storage was lacking, so we added two new storage areas (back ‘mudroom’ cabinetry off the back deck/patio door, large walk-in coat closet in the basement underneath the new staircase)
